1960's Beehive Look

  • Pintail Comb
  • Denham Brush
  • Kerby Grips
  • Sectioning Clips
  • Heated Rollers
  • Barrel Tongs
  • Hairspray
- Make sure the hair is no freshly washed as it needs to be tacky to hold
- Use Dry shampoo or serum to create a tacky texture as hairspray will burn when in contact with heat
  1. Section hair into a middle parting and section from the top of the ear to the crown of the head.
  2. Section off the front section and section a neat square wide enough to fit a pair of tongs at the crown of the head.
  3. Pull the strand away from the head and place the tong neatly and securely whilst rolling the curl into place.
  4. Gently remove tongs and clip the curl securely in crown.
  5. Repeat downwards 3/4 times more depending on hair length
  6. Repeat again but this time clip one curl to either side of the row of curls.
  7. Style remaining portion of the hair whilst the curls set to cool.
  8. Unravel the first curl and with a pintail comb, brush down right at the root of the hair until desired lift is achieved.
  9. Unravel and backcomb each curl until your beehive is at its desired height
  10. Smooth a section from the font over the volumised beehive and spray to finish.
