Matte Finish Foundation


  • Oil-Free Foundation
  • Pressed/Loose Powder
  • Mattifying/Oil Control Primer
  • Foundation Brush
  • Make-up Sponge
  • Powder Puff
  • Powder Brush
  • Blotting Powder (optional)
- Ensure the skin is cleansed and toned but avoid moisturising the skin unless using a mattifying lotion

1. Apply primer mainly to the nose and forehead area to remove any natural shine.

2. Evenly apply the foundation to the face and blend away and harsh lines

3. Once an even coverage has been achieved, take a powder puff and dip in loose translucent powder.

4. Blot on the back of the hand, the in a roller motion press the powder under the eye are and also on the nose.

5. Taking a clean powder brush, blend any excess powder away, focusing on areas that are most oily. 

6. Powder the rest of the face, and taking a small fluffy brush, apply powder loosely in the corners of the nose. 

7. Be careful not to overpowder the cheekbones as the skin still needs to maintain dimension.
