Classic Shapes & Silhouettes

High Ponytail


  • Denham Brush
  • Straightening Irons
  • Pintail comb
  • Hair ties
  • Gloss serum
  1. Straighten the hair, section by section until all curls and kinks have been removed.
  2. Ensure the hair has been thoroughly straightened other wise the style will not hold.
  3. Start to slick back the hair into a ponytail, section by section, brushing through the hair as you go.
  4. Gather larger amounts until you have brushed all the hair into your hand ready to shape into a ponytail.
  5. Continue to smooth through with a brush until all kinks have been removed.
  6. Tie in place and smooth gloss over to finish. 





Slicked Back style

  1. Straighten the hair in even sections until the hair is dead straight,  and all kinks have been removed. 
  2. Section off horizontally at the front of the head & put to one side. 
  3. Section the hair on either side of the head until it reaches the crown, taking the left side first.
  4. Run serum through the hair and slick back tight against the model's head and pin discreetly.
  5. Repeat with hair on the other side.
  6. Bring back the hair sectioned off at the front and smooth over the hair that has been pinned.
  7. Spray to finish.
